Matt has worked in the entertainment industry for 20 years focussed in the areas of music (sales, marketing, and artist management), sports entertainment, broadcast television, Internet and mobile services, the majority in senior or governing positions. More recently Matt has specialized in new media and digital technologies and established an artist management company, Let The People Speak, that presently manages nine artists, a number of whom have achieved early success under his guidance.

Matt started his career in 1989 working for CBS records in Sydney where he developed his skills in sales and marketing. In 1991 he moved to the Warner Music Group, where he worked his way to upper management positions in Australia and national sales manager in New Zealand reporting through to international head offices in Hong Kong, Los Angeles and the UK. During this time he worked closely with celebrities such as Billy Joel, The Highwaymen, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Joe Satriani, Pink Floyd, Madonna, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, REM, Pantera, kd Lang, Michael Crawford, INXS, Van Halen, and many others.

After nearly 10 years at Warner Music, Matt moved to New York and Los Angeles where he focused on developing a number of new technology initiatives; including a video Internet game called Hypertainment, before founding Txtstation, an interactive television mobile voting system for live sports and entertainment events for broadcast television and sporting codes.

He launched Txtstation worldwide, raising $6 million to expand the operation, before being invited to take on the position as CEO for a new New Zealand based mobile phone payment concept called Txttunes in 2007. It was through Txttunes that he met a number of artists that eventually led him to launch his artist management company, Let The People Speak.

During his 20 years in the industry Matt has gained valuable experience as a CEO and strengthened his leadership and business development skills by personally securing global business agreements with some of the worlds top brands like FIFA, NFL, NBA and NZ Cricket and many more. Broadcaster agreements and partnerships included FOX, CBS, SKY television and Time Warner in North America.
