Pacific Entertainment’s executive team comprises its founder, Ian Magan working alongside present owners, Sean Coleman, formerly New Zealand’s largest independent music retailer until 2006, and ex-corporate banker and singer/songwriter Robyn Alexander. Matt Coleman (no relation) also joined the team in early in 2009 when the company expanded into artist management through an association with Matt’s company, Let the People Speak. Matt brought a further 20 years experience in the entertainment industry through holding senior positions with two record labels as well as his own technology companies.
Each member of the team has achieved the heights of success in their respective areas of expertise. Strong complementary individual skills coupled with a common passion for music and a sympathetic understanding of what artists and audiences want mean that every aspect of concert promotion is fully considered and competently covered. All also have extensive links throughout the entertainment and related industries in New Zealand – the record labels, commercial radio, TV, press and other media, financial markets, artists, artist management – arguably making them one of the strongest and most diverse business teams in the New Zealand concert promotions industry.
